Condition: Vintage.

Entitled "The Face in the Mirror", this 1959 oil on canvas figure is by Santa Fe artist, Seymour Tubis (1919-1993). Tubis studied at the Art Students League with Hans Hofmann (1946-1949). He exhibited in Paris with praise by Georges Braque (1950) and was chair of the Fine Art Department at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe (1963-1980). Framed in the original restored vintage lath wood frame.
