On a recent trip to Bali, we spotted two of Robert Moore's watercolor paintings in a caf_ and decided instantly to track him down. Perched near the ocean, his studio is in an antique Balinese hut. Born in Australia, Robert (a.k.a. Bob) moved to Bali to write music, surf every morning and, as he says, make things. Oil paintings, watercolors, line drawings in pencil and ink, hand-painted batik fabrics, hand-cut wood block prints - even surfboards - you name it, he creates it. And we scooped up everything we could get our hands on.
