Antique Balinese Rice Pounder
Incredibly substantial, this solid teak wood piece was used to pound grains of rice as the harvests came off the fields. We loved their sculptural qualities, and think they'd be great in an entryway or even as an incredibly unique side table in the living room.

We found a streetside shop that was using the wood from these old rice pounders for other purposes - and we convinced the proprietor to let us buy just six of these as they were, before they were turned into something else. Quantities are truly limited, as a result.
