Shipping Policy

STANDARD DELIVERY AND PROCESSING

Most purchases are shipped from our Warehouse via Ground Parcel Service to arrive within five to seven business days of receipt of the order. In the event of a delay, we will notify you by mail or email.

Note: Items ordered together may not arrive together. We ship to the US and Canada only. Sorry, but we do not ship to P.O. or APO Boxes at this time.

Note: Delivery and processing charges are applied for each delivery address on an order.

RUSH DELIVERY AND PROCESSING

By choosing 2nd Day service during checkout, we will expedite orders for in-stock items. This service incurs a $15.00 upcharge of the table above. For choosing 2nd Day service on orders over $700.00, a 4% upcharge will be incurred. If we receive your order by 12 noon PST Monday through Thursday, you'll receive your purchase within three business days; orders placed Friday through Sunday by 12 noon PST will arrive on the following Wednesday. Deliveries occur Tuesday through Saturday. The charge for rush delivery is in addition to regular Delivery and Processing Charges, listed above.

This rush service is not available for oversized items, out of stock items, Upholstered Furniture, Gliders, Ottomans and Headboards.

2nd day service is not available on shipments outside of the continental US.

FURNITURE DELIVERY AND SURCHARGES

Some Serena & Lily items require an additional surcharge for delivery and special handling. This charge is listed in parentheses ($) after the item price and has been automatically added to your Shipping cost at checkout.

Made-to-order items are not returnable but may be cancelled within 24 hours of order placement.

Made-to-order items will arrive to your home between 6-8 weeks after your order is placed.

Items will arrive to you via our In-Home White-Glove Delivery service within the continental US. Furniture orders shipping to AK, HI, and some other areas will incur additional fees above the rates charged online that will be the responsibility of the recipient. For Shipments to Canada, please see the Shipping Policy page under "Canadian Shipments".

"White Glove Delivery" includes a call from our carriers to make a delivery appointment, to confirm the order details, and to gather any other information or special requirements for delivery.

Upon arrival, items are brought into your home, placed in the room of your choice (including up to two flights of stairs), unpacked, and packaging is removed.

Any assembly of made-to-order furniture is the responsibility of the customer. Headboard-only deliveries will be unpacked, but will not be attached to existing bed frames.

*Important* Please inspect and test your items carefully upon delivery. If your item has moving parts, please test the full range of motion before signing the Delivery Receipt.

When you sign the Delivery Receipt the merchandise becomes your property.

Serena & Lily cannot be responsible for damage not noted on the Delivery Receipt at the time of delivery. In the unlikely event that you discover damage or a defect when the items arrive, indicate the problem to the delivery team, and refuse delivery. Do not sign the Delivery Receipt. The carrier will inform us of the issue noted at delivery and we will contact you to arrange for next steps within three business days.

CANADIAN SHIPMENTS

Serena & Lily does not maintain Non-Resident Importer status with Canada. Serena & Lily is not responsible for tariffs, taxes, brokerage fees, duties or any other following costs required to import merchandise. As necessary, customers will be contacted by delivery companies and required to designate a freight broker in order to move goods into Canada. Customers are encouraged to learn the details necessary to assure successful delivery before ordering.

For furniture shipments to Canada, customers who are not available for delivery at the time of arrival will be required to pay for any storage fees incurred while successive delivery attempts are made. Furniture that is undeliverable will be returned to the vendor and customers will be required to pay for outbound and return freight plus 50% of the merchandise cost.

ALL INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS

We regret that we cannot ship directly to countries other than Canada and Mexico at this time. Serena & Lily is not responsible for tariffs, taxes, brokerage fees or any other following costs required to import merchandise. Serena & Lily does not provide "blanket" NAFTA documents. Serena & Lily does not offer Expedited Shipping to Canada or Mexico at this time. Orders shipping to destinations in Canada or Mexico will contain NAFTA certificates and Commercial Invoices. Some orders may arrive with C.O.D. conditions for that are the responsibility of the customer. International orders that are undeliverable will be returned and customers will be required to pay for outbound and return freight plus 50% of the merchandise cost.
