Condition: Vintage.

This watercolor abstract is dated Dec. 8, 1989 by Irish born artist Jacob Semiatin (1915-2003). During the 1930s and 1940s, Semiatin exhibited with the Brooklyn Society of Artists, alongside Gerard Schneider, Nicolas de Staël, and Jackson Pollock. After serving in World War II, he exhibited at The Brooklyn Museum, the Contemporary Arts Gallery, The Galerie Internationale in New York, Glass Gallery, and Ariel Gallery. Signed at bottom. Framed in a contemporary wood frame with a matte white finish using white Museum-Style archival matting and conservation clear glass.
