    This mid-late 20th century graphite, oil pastel and paint abstract on foam core is by French-American painter & designer Georgette London Owens (b. 1924. Owens studied at École des Beaux-Arts and with Cubist André Lhote in Paris. She exhibited at Musée D'Art Moderne & Salon des Indépendants in Paris, and at MOMA & several New York galleries. She was mentored by Salvador Dali and in 1988 formed the Alliance for Women Artists in Marin, CA. Framed in a contemporary wood frame with silver leaf face and grey maple sides behind plexi glass.
