This 1971 serigraph on paper abstract in yellow and orange is by East Coast painter, printmaker, and designer Jane Mitchell (1915-1988). Mitchell studied Art History and Fine Art at Wheaton College and University of Iowa. She lived and worked in Ibiza, Spain during the 1950s-60s and was influenced by Cubism and Surrealism. Mitchell exhibited throughout the U.S. and Spain during her lifetime. Edition 13/20. Signed and dated lower right. This piece will be shipped in a mat to fit a standard sized frame.
