Connor Heindel's inspiration is rooted in the design found in nature. Utilizing painterly marks, line, and pattern she attempts to deconstruct these conventionally beautiful forms in order to create something new. Connor enjoys the juxtaposition of texture, the uncovering of light patterns, and ultimately the process of creating a harmony between recognizable forms and those that might have seemed too disparate to ever reconcile. After receiving her bachelors degree from Wake Forest University Connor moved back to the state she calls home and currently lives and works in Atlanta, Georgia.
