ink, watercolor, and felttip marker on paper board, vintage frame
20.5" x 24"
Entitled "Girl With Pet" this 1970's mixed media on paper board scene of a girl with her pet is by Morris Kronfeld (1914-2011), a New York Modernist artist. He studied art, biology, & art history at Brooklyn College and received a master's degree at NYU. An art teacher and district art supervisor, Kronfeld had a lifelong career with the NYC Board of Education. He traveled extensively every summer, painting & drawing, and exhibited in Brooklyn and Greenwich Village. Signed lower right. Framed in a vintage wood frame with a black face using white archival matting behind clear conservation glass.
Hand-picked by Serena & Lily from Lost Art Salon's Collection, a renowned San Francisco-based resource for original 20th century works of modernist, vintage, antique, and contemporary art. We like to think of the Lost Art Salon pieces chosen for our Serena & Lily Art Collection as being “twice curated”.

If necessary, oil and acrylic paintings can be cleaned with a damp cloth or by a professional art conserver. Works under glass can be cleaned using a glass cleaner, but avoid harsh chemicals when cleaning works under plexi to prevent surface damage.
