Woven from 93% high energy-dyed polyester and 7% solution-dyed olefin, our S&L Performance Fabrics are designed to repel water and resist fading, staining, and mildew.
Vacuum regularly on a low setting without the rotating beater brush. The bristled brush digs into the fibers and may damage your upholstery.
Wipe spills immediately. Clean with natural soap and lukewarm water. Sponge briskly and rinse thoroughly to remove dirt. Then air dry.
Chlorine bleach will not affect the coloration of the dyed acrylic or polyester fiber – use it for stubborn stains, but try a solution of one part bleach, two parts water. (Chlorine bleach, strong chemicals or harsh detergents will eventually affect the strength of any fiber or cloth.)
Professional cleaning is recommended for hard-to-remove stains.
We love linen for its texture, versatility, and relaxed elegance. It has a wonderfully soft feel that adds a sense of luxury, too.
To preserve its beauty, keep your furniture indoors and avoid exposure to the sun.
Do not place sharp objects on or near the linen, as this could damage the natural material.
Excessive rubbing or bumping may cause the natural material to fray.

To preserve the beauty of your linen, never use bleach, spot pens, or detergents with enzymes or harsh cleaners. Do not rub as this could damage the fibers.
Smaller items, including slipcovers, can be washed at home with medium heat for both washing and drying (up to 100°F/38°C). To avoid shrinking, do not dry completely.
Washed slipcovers should be put back on the frame while still partly damp. Other items may be re-wetted to relax the weave, or reshaped using a hot iron to apply steam and pressure.
A hot iron can also press out wrinkles and soften your linen after washing.
Furniture pieces should be professionally cleaned – especially for any hard-to-remove spills.
To spot-clean spills, soak up the liquid with a paper towel right away, then apply cold water and blot again with a clean cloth. To further spot-clean, use a small amount of dish soap on a clean white cloth and continue to blot.
Casual, family-friendly, and perfect for high-traffic areas, cotton is always a good bet.

Spills should be treated as soon as they occur. Use an absorbent white cloth or tissue, slightly moistened with lukewarm water. Do not use colored cloths as the dye may transfer.
If water alone does not remove the stain, a diluted carpet upholstery shampoo can be used – just be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions. Always apply the cleaning solution to the dampened white cloth, never directly onto the upholstery. Gently blot or rub the stain, working from the edge to the middle. Remove any residual shampoo with a damp cloth.
Finish cleaning in the direction of the nap. Dry immediately before using again; a hair dryer on a low temperature can be used.
