encaustic on panel, mounted in hand-made wooden frame
19" x 19"
Origin: Sonoma. CA
Cari uses the ancient medium of encaustic (molten pigmented beeswax) to create her luscious abstract paintings. Her work combines rich color fields in conjunction with an elegant layering of line and pattern that create a developed depth of interest in each painting. As a full-time artist Cari teaches, lectures, and shows her work in the US and abroad. Her methods and artwork are featured in DVDs, as well as being featured in several books and articles. She is endlessly inspired by her natural environment of the ocean, mountains, wildlife and vineyards that surround her in Sonoma County.
All art sales are final. Art only available to ship within the United States
