"Sea Flags" by Rob Delamater ART-17894Shop All
Monotype and gouache on paper, contemporary frame.
20.75" x 25"
Origin: San Francisco, California
Entitled "Sea Flags," this monotype and gouache on paper abstract is by San Francisco artist and Lost Art Salon co-owner Rob Delamater (b.1966). Delamater creates abstract compositions that evoke organic shapes and motifs from the natural world. His works are created using various forms of printmaking, painting, and collage. Signed, dated, and titled at bottom.
This series is inspired by the artist’s residency at the Chateau Orquevaux in the Champagne countryside in France. Framed in a contemporary charcoal frame using a double white archival matt behind conservation clear glass.
Hand-picked by Serena & Lily from Lost Art Salon's Collection, a renowned San Francisco-based resource for original 20th century works of modernist, vintage, antique, and contemporary art. We like to think of the Lost Art Salon pieces chosen for our Serena & Lily Art Collection as being “twice curated”.
